About the Tennis Director

Dick Waterfall

Dick is a graduate of Framingham North High School. He was a nationally ranked player in the juniors and a full scholarship varsity tennis player at University of Evansville. Dick has more than 27 years of experience as a tennis professional. He was the founder of Tri-Valley Tennis and Fitness in Ashland, coached the boys varsity tennis team at Hopkinton High School, and has served as tennis director at both Hopkinton CC and Charter Oaks CC. Dick is also owner of Silton Tennis in Framingham and has been the official racquet stringer and retail supplier of the Boston Lobsters of World Team Tennis. In 2004 he was ranked #1 in New England in men’s 35 and over and still competes regionally and nationally in Men’s 45. He is a member of the USTA and USPTA, and in 2009 was recognized as the USPTA New England “Regional Pro of the Year.” He is married with three children and lives in Southborough.

Ted Ndinya – Assistant Professional

Ted has been a prominent pro in the area for over 10 years. A native of Kenya, Ted played college teams at the University of Illinois. Ted works with many high level juniors and is focusing on our new junior team.

Lesson Fees

Private with Director: $70 per hr OR pre-paid series of 4 lessons for $250

                                    Non-members: $80

             with Assistant: $60 per hour or $65 non-members

Junior Spring Tennis

            Peewees: ages 3 – 5 à Wed. 1 – 2 p.m.

            Strokers: ages 6 – 9 à Mon, Fri. 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

            Players: ages 10+ à Mon, Fri. 4 – 5:30 p.m.

Junior Travel Tennis Team

We will have 2 co-ed teams this year competing in the Silton Tennis League. We will compete against Hopkinton CC, Charter Oak CC and the Town of Medfield. Matches are on Fridays,

1 – 4 p.m. starting June 26. There will be an under-10 division and an 11+ division. Teams will be limited to 12 players with 8 players competing each week.

            Practices for Under 10: Tues – Thursday  1 – 2:30 p.m.

            Practices for 11+ : Tues – Thursday  2:30 – 4 p.m.

Practice begins June 22 for 8 weeks

Cost for team is $399, which includes unlimited practices, Friday supervised team match play, and a team shirt! Must be a junior member.

Junior Camps

3-DAY Tennis Camp for players 5 – 14 yrs old.

3-DAY half – day camp: 9 a.m.– 12 p.m. each camp day, Tues - Thursday

-          Includes drills and instruction, games and tennis conditioning. All campers get camp gift.
