FROM THE CLUB MANAGER'S CHAIR

Please note the following court reservations:   Our men's C team will be in a playoff match at our club this Thursday, July 1.  Time: 6 p.m. on courts 1 - 3. We hope the porch will be full of spectators.

The Tuesday/Thursday Women's Round Robin starts Tuesday, June 30 and will continue through August.  Time:8:30 - 10 A.M. on courts 1 - 3.  Sherri Gaynor is the coordinator.

Our Junior Program started June 22. Most of our juniors will be present between 1 and 3 p.m. Mondays through Friday. The Board of Directors has granted them the use of all six courts should they need them and this would most likely occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they play matches with other clubs. They practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  The best way to find out whether ADULTS can get a court between noon and 3 P.M. is to call Warren and he will check with our Pro, Alex Wong.

MAINTENANCE:  We must water out courts at least once a day during normal weather patterns. In order for you to know when this is going to take place, we try to do this job at the same time every weekday and at the same time on weekends/holidays. If it has rained within a few hours of this time slot, we can sometimes skip this normal  time period.

WEEKDAYS; We normally close ALL courts from 3 P.M. to 3:45 P.M.  Courts 5 and 6 are watered first as they are used by Juniors in the Advanced Program from 3:30 to 5 P.M. at which time courts 5 and 6 are dragged and watered again until about 5:20 P.M. They are then opened for general play.

WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS; Normally close two - four courts at a time between 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.  All courts are usually ready for play by 2 P.M.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ADULTS WHO WANT TO PLAY ON WEEKDAYS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1 and 3 P.M.?  After you check about court availability, you should plan to start playing before 2 P.M. if you want to get the full hour before maintenance starts at 3 P.M.  Courts 1 thru 4 won't be ready for play again until approximately 3:45 P.M.
